Tom, a long time musician, teacher and owner of Brendel's Music, has been a staple around the area performing jazz music to local audiences. Tom and his son Tommy, the guitarist for the 2021 New York All-State Jazz Ensemble, create a style of music characterized by complex harmony, syncopated rhythms, and a heavy emphasis on improvisation.
